Transfer stations tend to be utilised for companies whom require recycling and may not be able to segregate at source, these are ideal for locations that have limited storage space and can not segregate due to the number containers needed.
The materials that are sent to these facilities although diverse are segregated, baled and sent to the appropriate re-processor to be used in products that we use every day.
