Compactor Container
Compaction containers are primarily designed for the storage of large volumes of non hazardous waste. The material inside these units is compressed enabling increased quantities to be housed, dependant on the type of material and machine ratios of 2-1 and upwards can be achieved.
This then can lead to a reduction in costs due to transportation being less frequent.
Compactors are usually found at large production sites where high volumes are traditionally generated.
Compactors can be either portable or static, the portable variety are used extensively in the food industry as they are a completely sealed unit. Where as the static unit can be more widely used for dry waste collections.
